Act fast — TEDxGeorgiaCollege tickets going quickly

A limited number of tickets remain for TEDxGeorgiaCollege, coming to Russell Auditorium on Friday, Oct. 17. This year’s program invites the campus and community to explore the 2025 theme, “Spark,” through an inspiring series of live talks and performances from Georgia College & State University students, faculty and special guests.

The event will feature Paige Blakemore, Chloe Melton and Carly Walker, all Georgia College students; Dr. Ashok Hegde, professor of biomedical sciences; psychologist and coach Kimberly Murray; Amanda Rutter, associate director of the Deal Center for Early Language & Literacy; Grammy-nominated spoken-word poet Queen Sheba; and Dr. David Weill, professor of medicine at Tulane University.

GC Journeys serves as the Official Student Partner for TEDxGeorgiaCollege, connecting students with hands-on leadership and learning opportunities in event planning, production and day-of coordination.

“TEDxGeorgiaCollege brings together thought leaders and changemakers to share ideas that inspire,” said Harold Mock, chair of the TEDxGeorgiaCollege Board of Curators. “Our speakers will highlight the creativity, scholarship and innovation that make Georgia College a hub for meaningful conversation.”
