Ballroom Dance class

Join us for a wonderful time learning how to ballroom dance! The department of Theatre and Dance offers noncredit ballroom dance classes every week. In November, we are going to learn the foxtrot!  Be a wallflower no more, enjoy moderate exercise, and let the music take you away! Ninety percent of dance band music is foxtrot rhythm! So, this is a skill you will use for the rest of your life. Bring your own partner, as partners are not provided, wear comfortable loose clothing, hard soled shoes and a water bottle. 

Register with Continuing Education online or by calling 478-445-5277. The Continuing Education office is located now at the old train depot. Classes are every Wednesday from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. at Miller Dance Studio. Instructor, Amelia Pelton, retired GC director of Dance, has taught ballroom dance for 30 years.
