Winter Weather Updates
Updated 12:05 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, 2025
Georgia College & State University will resume normal operations and classes Monday, Feb. 2.
Although below-freezing temperatures are expected overnight tonight and into this week, sunny weather and temperatures above freezing are expected during the day. Please dress accordingly.
The Wellness & Recreation Center will be open noon to 10 p.m. today.
The Max is open today with regular dining services hours of 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for brunch and 5-8 p.m. for dinner.
Shuttle services are running according to the regular schedule.
The historic museums, including Andalusia, the Georgia’s Old Governor’s Mansion and the Sallie Ellis Davis House, will operate per their regular hours starting Monday.
Because conditions in northeast Georgia may be more severe, in the event that a student will not be able to make it back to campus before in-person classes resume tomorrow, they should coordinate directly with their professors on schedules and assignments.
