The Learning Center is recruiting Supplemental Instruction Leaders for fall 2026

Students who are interested in learning more about becoming a Supplemental Instruction Leader for fall 2026 are encouraged to sign up for one of these information sessions. These sessions are required for candidacy eligibility and are facilitated by current SI Coaches who are experienced and knowledgeable about the program. Faculty received an email from the Learning Center to request leader assignments and an opportunity to refer individual students to the program. 

SI Leaders provide peer group study sessions twice a week for their assigned course/professor in STEM introductory courses. They also audit the course to stay current with daily content and have successfully completed the course with strong grades and hold a GPA above 3.0 to be eligible. The recruiting cycle occurs the entire month of February, and decisions are handed down in early March.
