Communication Across Generations

Communication Across Generations

Join us on April 1 from 5 to 6 p.m. in Arts & Sciences, room 263 (Auditorium) for an engaging and interactive panel discussion on learning how to better communicate across generations.

Register here! (Light refreshments will be served.)

Different generations. Different perspectives. Different communication styles. One meaningful conversation.

From Boomers to Gen Z, each generation brings unique experiences, values and approaches to the workplace, leadership and everyday conversations. This panel will explore those differences with honesty, humor and insight while helping us all become more effective communicators.

  • Laugh at our differences.
  • Learn practical strategies.
  • Hear real-life perspectives.
  • Share your own experiences.

We’re excited to feature an incredible lineup representing multiple generations:
• Bruce Hood (Boomer) - Baldwin County Airport, manager
• Damita Jones (Gen X) - work-based learning coordinator, Baldwin High School
• Gil Pound (Millennial) - communications coordinator, Georgia College & State University
• Leah Frazier (Gen Z) - marketing & events manager, Milledgeville Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce

Whether you're leading a team, working with different age groups or just curious about how communication styles evolve, this conversation is for you!

This event is a collaboration between the School of Continuing & Professional Studies and the Milledgeville Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce.
