Welcome to GCSU's 4th Annual Research Day - Join us April 15 (Wednesday) and Honors Kick-off (April 14)

We welcome all to join the 4th Georgia College & State University Annual Research Day on April 15, 2026, to celebrate student success, featuring 283 student projects presented by undergraduate and graduate students from all disciplines, as well as GC Journeys!

The day will begin with poster presentations at 8:30 a.m. at the Magnolia Ballroom and continue with concurrent oral presentation sessions throughout the day in various locations. A special invited talk (Dr. Scott Huettel) at 11:00 a.m. and a Connecting College to Careers Panel at 2:00 p.m. will be held in the College of Arts and Science auditorium. The Honors Keynote Address and reception featuring Huettel from Duke University will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Magnolia Ballroom on April 14.

This year, MURACE is excited to offer a new Research Day 2026 App, allowing all attendees to view the agenda, save presentations to their own schedule, build their profiles, fill out attendance forms for classes and evaluate the event.
