Updated access and visitor procedures coming to Parks Hall

Beginning June 1, Georgia College & State University will implement updated building access and visitor procedures for Parks Hall as part of ongoing campus modernization, operational and safety improvement efforts.
 
The updates will include the installation of card-reader access points throughout the building, as well as the addition of a receptionist in the main lobby to assist visitors and help direct guests to meetings and offices.
 
These changes are designed to improve the overall visitor experience, support building operations and align Parks Hall with access, safety and reception practices already common across many administrative and academic facilities throughout the USG.
 
Faculty and staff who require regular building access will receive additional information before implementation regarding card access and related procedures.
