Candidate presentation and open forum for the position of Director of the Flannery O'Connor Institute for the Humanities

Members of the university community are invited to attend a candidate presentation and open forum for the position of Director of the Flannery O'Connor Institute for the Humanities. The event will be held in the Mayfair Hall Presentation Room on Friday, Aug. 7, from 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.

The candidate will deliver a presentation addressing the following topic:

The Flannery O'Connor Institute for the Humanities sits at the intersection of scholarship, education, public engagement, fundraising, and stewardship of one of Georgia College & State University's most distinctive assets. How would you advance the vision of the Institute over the next five years, and what specific initiatives would you prioritize to increase the Institute's impact, visibility and sustainability? 

Following the presentation, the candidate will respond to questions from the audience.
