Seeking Times Talk discussion facilitators for fall semester

Seeking Times Talk discussion facilitators for fall semester

Please consider facilitating a discussion for Times Talk this semester on a topic of your choice to help us celebrate its 21st year as a Georgia College & State University campus tradition and nationally innovative civic-engagement program. Times Talks take place in the Pat Peterson Museum Education Room in Russell Library from noon to 12:50 p.m. on the following dates:  Sept. 23, Sept. 30, Oct. 7, Oct. 14, Oct. 21, Nov. 4, Nov. 11, Nov. 18 and Dec. 2.  Become part of the tradition by volunteering to facilitate a discussion on any intellectual topic of interest to you or your class. Co-facilitator teams showcasing faculty, staff and/or student research are encouraged.

To volunteer or get more information, please send your name (and co-facilitators' names, if any), discussion topic in question format and preferred date(s) to jan.hoffmann@gcsu.edu who hosts Times Talk and serves as timekeeper/moderator for each program. You will be contacted as soon as possible for follow-up. Times Talk facilitation dates are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
