Recent Gilman returnee Mary Piper will speak to students about her Gilman experience. National Scholarships Office staff will talk about the Gilman Scholarship general requirements and benefits.

The Gilman and Gilman-McCain Scholarships provides up to $5,000 for study abroad to Pell Grant recipients (Gilman Scholarship) and also to students whose parents are active-duty military and who are receiving any form of title IV financial aid, with additional funding offered for STEM work and for studying critical needs languages abroad.

The National Scholarships Office will be hosting a workshop that will give Gilman applicants a chance to start their applications and to learn techniques to make their applications competitive.
