Constitution Week: Annual Supreme Court Review

As part of Constitution Week (Sept. 17–23), GCSU is hosting a Supreme Court Review on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 6 p.m. in the A&S Auditorium.

The program will feature remarks from panelists covering significant cases and developments from the most recent term:

  • Judge Stephen Bradley (Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit) on Chatrie v. United States (Fourth Amendment and geofence warrants)
  • Prof. Matt Roessing (Emory School of Law) on Trump v. Cook (presidential removal power and Federal Reserve independence)
  • Prof. Sheila Salvant Valentine (GSU College of Business) on Monsanto v. Durnell (Roundup/glyphosate and federal preemption of state failure-to-warn claims)
  • Rahul Garabadu (Associate, Krevolin & Horst) on the Court's emergency docket
  • Jehan El-Jourbagy, Associate Professor of Business Law and Ethics, will open with an overview of the Supreme Court and the most recent term.
