The Haunting History of Mental Health Treatment

Please join Psi Chi and Psychology Club for “The Haunting History of Mental Health Treatment,” an author talk by Jessica Whitehead on the history of mental health treatment at Central State Hospital. Jessica is the author of two books, "Seeking Asylum" and her most recent, "Seeking Asylum: Memories." She is an alumna of GCSU's Department of Psychological Science and currently works as the curator for the Central State Hospital Museum at Georgia's Old Capital Heritage Center.
