Thank you, Custodians! Happy National Custodian Day

October 2, 2026, is National Custodian Day and we are eager to say thank you to the dedicated professionals who ensure our classrooms, offices and public facilities are clean and welcoming. The Bobcat custodial staff is part of the GCSU Facilities Management team who keep campus clean, safe, healthy and looking beautiful inside and out!

James Anderson, director of building services at GCSU, said, "The work is not always easy, and much of what this team does happens behind the scenes. But every day, our custodial staff demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a genuine dedication to serving the Georgia College community."

Especially as we head into a big event like Family Weekend, it's so important to recognize the essential work of our custodians. Thank you all!
