A team of five students from Georgia College & State University claimed the top spot among United States universities at the SAP North American ERPsim Competition, finishing 4th overall.The team, representing the J. The GCSU Math Jeopardy team won its sectional tournament for the third time in four years, including two years in a row, May 27 at the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) Southeastern Section Meeting. A total of 26 teams from 19 different colleges and universities competed at the tournament held at the University of North Alabama. Georgia College had two teams compete this year, but they faced each other in the first round. As departments begin making their summer training plans, consider scheduling a QPR Training for your staff. QPR (Question Persuade Refer) is an evidence-based suicide prevention training appropriate for all audiences. A goal of the QEP, Bobcats FIRST, is to train approximately 10% of all faculty and staff each year. E-mail QPR@gcsu.edu to schedule a 90-minute group training for May, June or July.
