My journey began as a freshman at Georgia College & State University desiring to be soil scientist. Through various research experiences with aquatic macroinvertebrates and an internship with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, I desired to pivot to the marine systems where I spend my days boating through coastal waters and exploring seagrass meadows.
