GC Reads will be held on Friday, Aug. 15, for all new students during Week of Welcome. GC Reads is a 75-minute micro-seminar that gives new students an introduction to college academic discussion. In alignment with the QEP, Bobcats FIRST, all of the essays are related to mental health and wellbeing. We need around 70 facilitators to make GC Reads a success. Georgia College & State University vending machines will no longer accept cash, and will only accept credit card, debit card and the Bobcat Card for payment. The transition to cashless vending will take place over the next several weeks and is expected to be complete by August.
