A team of five students from Georgia College & State University (GCSU) claimed the top spot among United States universities at the SAP North American ERPsim Competition, outperforming teams from major R1 research universities including Penn State, the University of Michigan, the University of Arkansas, and California State University.The team represented the J. The GCSU Math Jeopardy team won its sectional tournament for the third time in four years, including two years in a row, May 27 at the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) Southeastern Section Meeting. A total of 26 teams from 19 different colleges and universities competed at the tournament held at the University of North Alabama. Georgia College had two teams compete this year, but they faced each other in the first round.
