HIGH DEMAND ALERT: Electricity Usage for Thursday, January 18

Georgia Power has once again issued an Alert for Thursday, Jan. 18, as extreme cold temperatures and high demand persists across the regional power grid. Peak-hour pricing will remain elevated during the morning hours of 7 a.m. through 12 p.m.

GCSU students present premier cancer research to national audience

Recent research by two students will help address inequalities in treatment and survivorship for cancer patients. Graduate student, Kaitlin Van Voorhis, ’23, and senior public health major, Walker Brennan Rae, presented their abstract at the 16th annual American Association for Cancer Research meeting in October.
