Wellness and Recreation Center Closed for July 3 and 4 Holiday

The Wellness and Recreation Center will be closed Monday and Tuesday (July 3-4, 2023) for the holiday. High Demand Alert - Electricity Reduction for 6/28

Georgia Power has issued a "day-ahead" Alert for Wednesday, 6/28 as higher temperatures result in peak electricity demand that significantly impacts pricing (pricing will quadruple to $0.30 per Kilowatt Hour during the peak demand period).  Judging from forecasted temperatures, we expect this status will persist throughout the week.   The campus community is urged shut down all non-essential lighting during the peak hours of 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.  At your discretion, consider unplugging...

Here's a reminder that we will have a campus closure day Monday, July 3, 2023.  The schedule was posted on our holiday calendar webpage and discussed in several emails over the past year and a half.   As noted, with a campus closure you have two (2) options: Submit 8 hours of vacation leave on your timesheet. Submit uncompensated leave to Payroll Services. When time permits, please submit your personal leave request for that day if you have not already done so.
