Georgia College & State University will test the Outdoor Emergency Notification System (siren system) Wednesday, July 2, 2025. This test is scheduled to occur the first Wednesday of every month between 10 a.m. and noon and will last approximately one minute. Georgia College & State University vending machines will no longer accept cash, and will only accept credit card, debit card and the Bobcat Card for payment. The transition to cashless vending will take place over the next several weeks and is expected to be complete by August.
