Campus Closed: Tuesday, January 9
The GCSU campus will remain closed today due to ongoing severe weather, as well as intermittent power outages on campus. Normal campus operations and classes are expected to resume Wednesday, January 10. See Front Page for more information.
Hurricane Idalia Update
GCSU will close at noon on Wednesday, August 30, after which all classes and events will be cancelled until Thursday, August 31.
Boil Water Advisory
A water main break near the intersection of South Columbia and West Greene streets has affected water service for several buildings on campus.

Small fire in Herty Hall
Tuesday, May 10 at 12:30 p.m.: GC Public Safety and Facilities have inspected Herty Hall and determined the building is safe to reenter.
Tuesday, May 10 at 12:13 p.m.: GC Public Safety has responded to a small electrical fire at Herty Hall. The fire has been extinguished. The building should be avoided until an all-clear is sent.
