Congratulations to MFA student Serena Kerkstra who has been awarded an Associated Writing Programs Intro Journals Award for her short story “Used Books” which will be published in Puerto del Sol joural. The AWP Intro Journals Project is a literary competition for the discovery and publication of the best new works by students currently enrolled in AWP member programs. This is a national award with typically 15 emerging writers selected annually!
