Dr. Kasey Karen will discuss the work of Drs. Victor Ambros and Gary Ruvkun, who were awarded the 2024 Nobel Prize in Physiology/Medicine for the discovery of microRNA and its role in post-transcriptional gene regulation. This event is open to all students. Georgia College & State University Honors alumnus Kevin Morris will discuss his work as a program associate with the Democracy Program at the Carter Center. The National Scholarships Office will host an information session on the Critical Language Scholarship Monday Oct. 16 at 5 p.m. in the Humber-White House.
