Georgia College & State University infielder Emily Hobbs has been named the Peach Belt Conference Softball Player of the Week ending March 22.Hobbs, a senior from Ochlocknee, Georgia, batted .571 (8-of-14) in five games last week for the Bobcats, who went 3-2 during the week. Hobbs, who was also named the Zaxbys Player of the Week, had a home run and drove in five runs to go along with four runs scored and a stolen base. Georgia College & State University outfielder Luke Boone has been named the Peach Belt Conference Baseball Player of the Week ending March 22.Boone, a junior from Richmond Hill, Georgia, batted .474 (9-of-19) in four games last week for the Bobcats, who went 2-2 during the week.
