Georgia College & State University will host Park(ing) Day on Friday, Sept. 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Old Courthouse lawn. Learn to activate spaces with hands-on garden design and see how you can utilize a space to create beautiful outdoor spaces.Make and take a native plant home!This event is a collaboration among the American Association of Landscape Architects, The Office of Sustainability, the Office of Community Engagement, Environmental Science Club and the Gardening Club.

A small number of spaces in the Centennial Center parking lot will be closed on Friday, May 9, and Saturday, May 10.
