Saturday, November 9 GCSU’s three choral ensembles will present a combined concert at 7:30 p.m. in First Baptist Church on 330 S. Liberty Street. “Americana” will feature choral works by American composers which span over two hundred and fifty years. The selections are by such notable composers and arrangers as William Billings, Amy Beach, William Dawson, Samuel Barber, Leonard Bernstein, Emma Lou Diemer, Gwyneth Walker and Moses Hogan. Come out and enjoy our Georgia College & State University Jazz Faculty and Friends Tuesday, July 30, 7-9 p.m. at Amici Café, downtown Milledgeville, presented by Jazz at Georgia College. Hosted by Chris Enghauser and Don Parker, the GCSU Jam Session is open to all members of the community interested in working on their jazz and improvisation skills. Bring your instrument if you want to play or come just to enjoy the menu and the live music at Amici Café. We hope to see you there!

Get ready for some sand, sun and fun on Friday, June 7, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.! With 80 tons of sand to play in, music from D.J. Hit Play and activities for children, it's sure to be a great time for all!Make sure you visit the Georgia College & State University's Continuing and Professional Education station to learn more about summer camps.Don't forget to visit the Milly Market located at the pavilion (next to Golden Pantry) for fresh produce, flowers and other local foods.

Make your dinner plans to come out to the Pecan Grove at the Central State Campus. More than 10 food trucks will serve up a variety of tasty treats. There will be music, activities and more.One of our non-profit partners, Department of Public Health, is the host organization. Come out and show support.
