Journey to Asia, an exhibition by Museum Studies II students at Georgia College & State University explores the diversity of Asian art from the University's permanent collection. All curating, planning, installation, interpretation and research has been conducted by students in the Museum Studies Program at GCSU. Please join us for a reception and viewing of the exhibit on March 7, 2024 at 5 - 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

The Department of Art’s Visiting Artists and Scholars Program invites the Georgia College & State University community to a public lecture by the Brazilian musician, transmedia artist, scholar and educator Cândida Borges. Borges, who lives and works between New York City and Rio de Janeiro, holds a Ph.D. in arts from Plymouth University (UK, 2022), a master’s in music/piano performance from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil, 2001), as well as a bachelor's in piano, singing...

Seth Cook, Georgia College & State University lecturer in Photography, has a solo exhibition at the Macon Arts Alliance Feb. 2-23. The reception is Feb. 2 from 5 until 7 p.m.
