Please join us for a ceremony and reception honoring Dr. Kenneth S. Saladin and the newly named Kenneth S. Saladin Integrated Science Complex. We will enjoy remarks from several campus leaders including Dr. Saladin, as well as have refreshments on the lawn immediately following. Parking is available in the Kilpatrick Lot for easy access to the event. 

We have three distinguished speakers joining us – two alumni who are visiting from nearby locations in Georgia, and one from Washington D.C. Per Executive Order by Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, Georgia College & State University will lower its flags to half-staff Feb. 17, 2024, in honor and respect for the memory Sergeant Breonna Alexsondria Moffett, 23, of Savannah, Georgia. Sergeant Moffett and two other soldiers were tragically killed in a drone attack at a base in Jordan Jan. 28, 2024. We recognize the sacrifices made by Sergeant Moffett who honorably served our country in the United States Army Reserve.

Sonny Perdue, chancellor of the University System of Georgia, joined numerous other veterans from GCSU and Milledgeville to recognize Veterans Day.
