A portion of Greene Street, from Wells Hall to Parkhurst Hall, will be closed for a university event on Friday, Aug. 21.Please move all vehicles from this area no later than 12 p.m. (noon) on Thursday, Aug. 20. Any vehicle remaining in the closure area after this time will be towed at the owner's expense.

The Parking and Transportation Office will be closed on Tuesday, July 28, for office maintenance.During this time, staff will remain available to assist by phone at 478-445-7433 or by email at parking@gcsu.edu.The office is expected to reopen on Wednesday, July 29. Employee parking permits automatically renew at the beginning of each academic year and remain active until canceled.Employee permits are available to all full-time, part-time and non-student employees. Please be advised that the West Campus shuttle stop will be closed during the week of July 6 due to ongoing work in the area.During this time, all shuttle pick-ups and drop-offs will take place behind the Wellness and Recreation Center.We appreciate your patience and understanding as this work is completed.

Shuttle service will be unavailable beginning May 13, 2026, and will resume on June 22, 2026, at 8 a.m.

Campus parking enforcement will end on Tuesday, May 12. Throughout the summer months, students, staff and faculty may park in any campus lot. Regular parking enforcement will resume on August 17.
