The Eve Puckett Giving Tree Award is given by the Office of Community Engagement and Service to a student who has left a lasting legacy of service at the university. Each recipient plants a tree on campus as an act of giving back to the community. The Healthy Minds Study is one of two national-scale surveys that constitute the main assessment of the QEP, Bobcats FIRST. Georgia College & State University will administer the HMS Feb. 19 through March 15. To get our response rate where we need it, we are asking all faculty to allow us to proctor the survey to their classes. The survey takes approximately 30 minutes. Per Executive Order by Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, Georgia College & State University will lower its flags to half-staff Feb. 17, 2024, in honor and respect for the memory Sergeant Breonna Alexsondria Moffett, 23, of Savannah, Georgia. Sergeant Moffett and two other soldiers were tragically killed in a drone attack at a base in Jordan Jan. 28, 2024. We recognize the sacrifices made by Sergeant Moffett who honorably served our country in the United States Army Reserve.
