The campus chilled water distribution system has been temporarily taken out of service while repairs are on-going to a damaged main. This will not affect server rooms and other facilities served by stand-alone cooling systems nor will it affect ventilation and air circulation. Does your department need the assistance of student workers? There are several allocations available for Federal Work Study placements. This program is funded by the Department of Education, but students are paid every two weeks through Georgia College & State University the same as any other student assistants. Students make $9 an hour and can work up to 19 hours per week. If you are interested in requesting an allocation, please email Takeya.miller@gcsu.edu for more information.
