We are pleased to inform you that Anthem and Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) have reached a new 5-year agreement that is effective Oct. 1, 2019, the date the previous contract expired.  We wanted to share the following information that we have received from Anthem so far: If you have a claim for a NGHS provider or facility that has already been paid, it will not be re-processed.  Based on an NGHS statement, NGHS said they will treat claims as in-network through Dec. 31, 2019. ...
