Baldwin County Health Department now has the new Covid-19 booster available. You can walk in between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, or call (478) 445-4274 to schedule an appointment. Proof of insurance is required. Georgia College & State University partners with the Baldwin County Health Department to offer this service. The Baldwin County Health Department is located at 100 Ireland Dr. in Milledgeville.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has updated its guidance for COVID-19 vaccination, including: recommendations for use of the 2023–­2024 formulations of Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine: Everyone ages 5 years and older is recommended to receive one dose of updated (2023–­2024 Formula) mRNA COVID-19 vaccine.
