Honors College alumna Caroline Cole ’24 has earned a Phi Kappa Phi Graduate Fellowship. At GCSU, she majored in History and minored in Museum Studies and was one a Valedictorial of the class of 2024. This fall, Caroline will attend The University of St Andrews (Scotland) where she will pursue a Master of Letters in Museum and Heritage Studies. The Honors College will be selecting an alum and a young alum of the year for 2024. Those individuals will, in turn, become candidates for the Alumni Achievement Award and the Outstanding Recent Alumni Award, which are given by the Alumni Office. Vivian Cassaniti, ’23, is Georgia College & State University’s 2024 Academic Recognition Day representative. She was recognized at a luncheon by University System of Georgia Chancellor Sonny Perdue April 10 in Atlanta. Between Wednesday and Saturday, Brian Newsome and Anna Whiteside accompanied a large group of Honors students to the Southern Regional Honors Conference, held in Jacksonville, Florida.
