Dear Campus Community:
Due to weather conditions that are expected to deteriorate tonight, Georgia College & State University will be closed on Friday, December 23. Weather forecasts include overnight rain and gusty winds that will freeze with dropping temperatures and make for icy road and campus conditions throughout the day on Friday. We encourage all members of the Georgia College community to be mindful of these weather conditions, to monitor area news stations for weather updates, and to drive only when necessary tomorrow.
Only essential personnel are expected to report to work tomorrow (and we appreciate their service in assuring that our campus is secure in this rare weather event).
