Voices of the Returned Podcast

Criminal justice associate professor Dr. Alesa Liles sponsors a podcast, “Voices of the Returned: Life After Incarceration,”  which features individuals impacted by mass incarceration, many of whom spent decades in prison. Each episode explores the hard-fought journeys to reestablishing and reclaiming their lives.

In less than a year, the podcast has been played over 100 times in 5 different countries, and it has been featured on the University of Alabama Institute for Human Rights website.
