GCSU Writing Center Shines at 2023 SWCA Conference

On February 10th and 11th, the Georgia College and State University Writing Center participated in the 2023 Southeastern Writing Center Association conference in Memphis, Tennessee with 200 other attendees. Undergraduate Peer Tutor Grace Cote and Graduate Writing Consultant Rebecca Hathaway presented on a panel with Writing Center Director Dr. Bracewell and MURACE Faculty Director Dr. Sevcik on the pilot partnership program between MURACE and the Writing Center. Graduate Writing Consultants Nathaniel Williams and Dan Johnston presented on their research as Writing Center Resource Coordinator and Flourishing Coordinator, respectively.

Dan Johnston received special recognition as he was awarded $250 from the Christine Cozzens research grant and initiative program for the GCSU graduate writing groups.
