Guest Artist and Faculty Recital: Mikael Adon Darmanie, piano and Bryan Emmon Hall, violin

Thursday, March 23 Guest artist Mikael Adon Darmanie and Georgia College & State University faculty Bryan Hall will perform a piano and violin recital at 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall. The program features impressive techniques on both instruments—such as a fiery fantasy on themes from Georges Bizet’s “Carmen” and romantic sonata masterpieces by Edvard  Grieg and Camille Saint-Saëns. Darmanie is the keyboardist, DJ, composer and arranger for the band Warp Trio. He has performed throughout the Americas, Europe, Africa, Russia and the Caribbean. Hall is the 2023 winner of the prestigious 31st International Conductors Workshop and Competition held in Atlanta, Georgia. This concert will also be livestreamed on the Music Department's Facebook page. A $5 donation is encouraged. All proceeds benefit music scholarships or the GC Department of Music through GCSU Foundation, Inc. For more information, please email music@gcsu.edu or call 478-445-8289.
