Accepting Teaching Applications: "USG Goes Global" Summer 2024 Study Abroad Program

Accepting Teaching Applications: "USG Goes Global" Summer 2024 Study Abroad Program

The USG system's "USG Goes Global" (USGG) study abroad program is seeking faculty for teaching positions with its Summer 2024 study abroad (SA) programs.

  • Deadline: Midnight, April 21, 2023
  • Interested faculty can find details and/or start an online application.
  • All interested faculty are encouraged to apply.

Because USGG is meant to serve as a kind of SA training ground (administrative aspects of USGG programs are handled at the university system office level so faculty may focus upon academic content) faculty that may be less familiar with teaching - or directing - programs abroad are especially encouraged to apply.

USGG currently maintains active programs to European destinations including Scotland, England, Spain, France, Portugal, and Ireland, as well as a program in Jamaica.

  • Faculty can apply to teach on an existing program or submit a proposal for a new location, subject to its approval by the appropriate USG World Regional Council.

For more information about USG Goes Global, please visit the USGG information page

If you are interested in applying for a USGG Summer 2024 teaching position, or one of the open Program Director positions, submit an online application by midnight on April 21, 2023. Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.

  • Questions? Contact the USGG Program Office at global@usg.edu or (404) 962-3192.
