Book Launch for "The Middle Daughter" by Chika Unigwe

Please join GCSU's Creative Writing Program's Visiting Writers Series as we celebrate our very own Dr. Chika Unigwe's book launch for The Middle Daughter! She will be reading from her new novel and signing books. Of the novel, reviewer Helon Habila writes, "Chika Unigwe's modern retelling of the myth of Hades and Persephone is pitch perfect—it is a meditation on the need we all share for belonging, and family, and love; a commentary on the journey we must all take in search of freedom.”

MFA students Michaela Reed and Sherri-Anne Forde  will be reading from their work as well.
