LAST DAY to Support our 4th GCSU Giving Challenge!

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY OF OUR GIVING CHALLENGE! Please consider making a gift on the GC Giving Challenge page on givecampus.com by 11:59 p.m. in support of the area that means the most to you. 

Five of our six projects still need your help! What your gift will support for each project:

• Heritage Fund – Your gift will support student success across our campus and provide critical funds to various areas when needed.
• College of Arts & Sciences – Your gift will help the Science Education Center acquire outreach supplies, underwrite a Young Scientists Academy high school student stipend, bring a world-renowned scientist to Central Georgia, and much more.
• J. Whitney Bunting College of Business and Technology – Your gift will support both Study Abroad opportunities and the Student Leadership Tour for our College of Business and Technology students.
• John H. Lounsbury College of Education – Your gift will help provide GC THRIVE students with experiences that will help them find jobs of their choosing at program completion. GC THRIVE is an Inclusive Post-Secondary Education (IPSE) program for students with intellectual disabilities who would not otherwise matriculate as GCSU students.
• College of Health Sciences – Your gift to the Center for Health and Social Issues (CHSI) will help reduce the burdens and disparities of chronic disease among vulnerable populations and beyond, initiate a mobile screening clinic for underserved communities in Central Georgia, and advocate for increased access to healthy and safe foods in and beyond Baldwin County.
• John E. Sallstrom Honors College – Your gift will underwrite the cost of a trip to New York City for students taking Dr. Jenny Flaherty’s Honors course on “Underworlds and Afterlives” in the fall of 2023. Students will encounter transformative learning experiences throughout their trip and utilize other cultural resources related to the theme of the course.
