Anna Graves Selected as GCSU Academic Recognition Day Representative

Dec. 2022 Honors alumna and university valedictorian Anna Graves has been recognized as GCSU’s 2022-2023 Academic Recognition Day representative. Every year, each institution within the University System of Georgia selects one senior as its representative for outstanding scholastic achievement. A faculty committee chose Anna, and on Tuesday, April 25, she and GSCU President Cathy Cox enjoyed a special luncheon for all ARD representatives with Chancellor Sonny Purdue in Atlanta. Anna majored in psychology and minored in criminal justice. She is currently participating in an internship in counseling at the Baldwin State Prison in Milledgeville and plans to pursue a master’s degree in social work. Congratulations, Anna!
