The Annual GCSU Bobcat Classic Golf Tournament, one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for Georgia College & State University athletics, is right around the corner, Friday, May 12 at The Club at Lake Sinclair.

As always, there will be tee times offered for the morning and afternoon. While the chance to hit the links with your favorite Bobcats is often incentive enough to sign up for the annual tournament, the door prizes at the Bobcat Classic are often second to none.

“It’s a great day of fun and fellowship we look forward to every year,” said Director of Athletics Wendell Staton. “Proceeds directly benefit our student-athletes. We look forward to another outstanding tournament this year as we have had great prior success due to loyal support and volunteers.”

The cost is $700 for a foursome, with shotgun starts at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Golfers are welcome to register as individuals as well, at the cost of $175.

The Bobcat Classic sponsorship packages are also available, offering tournament sponsors tiered rewards for increased involvement.
