Honorable Mentions: The Honors College Newsletter

The John E. Sallstrom Honors College is pleased to share Honorable Mentions, our 2022-2023 newsletter. The new name is thanks to President Cathy Cox, who suggested and funded a naming competition for the newsletter. Students submitted ideas, and the Honors Faculty Council selected the one proposed by student Morgan Gosdin (’26). We are so pleased to see the new title on the front cover! Our students, faculty and supporters have been busy over the last year, and exciting initiatives—like a New York City trip—are on the horizon as we look to the future.

Special thanks are extended to Honors Student Assistant Jenesis Harris, who edited this year’s newsletter. She did an outstanding job with the layout and stories!

Special gratitude is also extended GCSU colleagues Kristen Simpson and Brooks Hinton, who provided invaluable assistance with the final proofing and production of the newsletter.
