Information Technology - University Housing wireless network SSIDs

Please note the new wireless networks available in University Housing at Georgia College & State University and a brief description of the purpose of each option. Please visit at https://gcsu.edu/wireless or submit a ticket at https://AskIT.gcsu.edu if you have questions or need assistance.

• Bobcats - For faculty/staff/students using their GCSU credentials to log in to gain internet access. Used on devices such as laptops, phones and tablets.
  
   
• Bobcat Devices - For connecting devices that don't support user authentication, including gaming consoles and streaming devices (Roku, Apple TV, Firestick). Must register the device's wireless MAC address on mydevices.gcsu.edu. Visit gcsu.edu/wireless for more info.
  
   
• Bobcat Guests - For guests on campus who don't have a GCSU account. Creates a temporary account for limited time access. Not for students who have a GCSU account.
  
   
• eduroam - For visiting faculty/staff/students who attend another participating eduroam university. Not for students who have a GCSU account.
