Inclusive Excellence Research Grants - Application period opens Sept. 1

The purpose of this grant program is to provide funding for Georgia College & State University faculty to conduct research on topics regarding inclusive excellence in the discipline and beyond. Faculty can address inclusive excellence in a variety of ways including: examining underserved populations; researching the effect of educational, economic, health and environmental disparities; analyzing public policies and their impact on the social world; investigating historical events; evaluation of effective and inclusive teaching; discovering the roles specific learning outcomes includes or excludes our learners; identifying the impact the use of technology has on certain populations; and recognizing the student's agency in successfully matriculating through the coursework. 

The call for Inclusive Excellence Grant proposals for 2023 Round I opens Sept. 1, 2023, with a deadline of Sept. 15, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.  Applicants should read the guidance provided by Academic Affairs. Once the applicant has their materials ready to submit, please log into GeorgiaVIEW/D2L, click on the Self-Registration menu option, find the 2023 Inclusive Excellence Grants Program course.  Be sure to complete the self-registration for the course. Grant Amount: Up to $4,000.00 

 

Submission Timeline:

Application open: Sept. 1 to Sept. 15, 2023 at 5 p.m. EST 

Winners announced: Oct. 10, 2023 

Award lasts until: Nov. 1, 2024 [All funds must be expended by May 1, 2024]
