Info Sessions, Thursday (Sept. 7): School for International Training (SIT) Study Abroad. Special Scholarships!

The International Education Center is pleased to announce that Ms. Mary Welch of the School for International Training (SIT) will be on campus Thursday, Sept. 7 to discuss SIT’s unique Study Abroad opportunities with GCSU students. A tabling event will be held on Thursday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the A&S fountain, followed by an information session in A&S 238 from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m.  SIT Study Abroad offers highly-immersive, field-based, summer and semester study and internship programs in Africa, Asia and the Pacific, plus Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. SIT, rather uniquely – and with great intentionality – develops its programs around a framework addressing contemporary critical global issues (CGIs).  SIT programs are purposefully interdisciplinary and appropriate for a variety of GCSU majors. Through a special arrangement, GCSU students are eligible to receive up to $5,000 for SIT semester programs and up to $3,000 for summer programs.  Be sure not to miss this great opportunity learn more about SIT programs.
