Fall Foraging on the Farm

Join us Saturday, Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. for a day of foraging at Andalusia Farm: The Home of Flannery O’Connor. We'll explore the fields and fence lines of Andalusia Farm in search of edible treasures (and maybe see a peafowl or two). We will end the morning at the pond with a light snack of jams, jellies and honey locally foraged by our facilitators served atop homemade bread and washed down with teas prepared from items we collect along the way.

Participants will leave with a greater understanding of local flora and resources detailing keys to successful plant and fungi identification. Participants should dress appropriately for the outdoors including comfortable walking shoes, bug spray and sunscreen.

Registration is limited - reserve your spot.
