Bobcat Men's Basketball cracks NABC National poll at No. 25

Georgia College & State University cracked the National Association of Basketball Coaches NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Rankings at No. 25.



The Bobcats, who are off to their best start to the season since 2008-09 with a 6-0 ledger, received 66 points in the poll and are one of four newcomers - Benedict College (No. 19), Missouri Western State University (No. 22) and California University of Pennsylvania (No. 24) - in this week's Top 25. Georgia College is one of two Peach Belt Conference institutions listed in the poll as the University of North Georgia is ranked 16th.



This is the first appearance in the poll since the 2021-22 season when they were ranked for three weeks.



GCSU, which are playing its first 11 games on the road this season, returns to action Wednesday (Dec. 6) when they travel to Franklin Springs, Georgia, for a 7 p.m. contest against Emmanuel (Ga.) University.
