New PAWS version and Banner 9 self-service modules testing

Information Technology (IT) is working to roll out a new version of PAWS (Banner Self Service). The University System of Georgia Information Technology Services (USG ITS) has mandated that all existing Banner 8 (PAWS) modules be discontinued effective March 30, 2024.

One of the requirements stipulated by USG ITS is institutions must configure their Banner version 9 solutions to use single-sign-on (SSO) and multifactor authentication (MFA). IT has configured this new Banner 9 self-service (PAWS) to utilize your Georgia College & State University credentials and DUO MFA authentication.

Blue tiles are still being worked on and configured. The green tiles work but may need some more configuration from IT and the functional areas. This new version of PAWS will include comparable Banner 9 modules to replace the Banner 8 modules. IT is also working on converting many of the custom reports into the new environment.
